Learn How to Grow Your Own Food

Started April 2026

Here on the farm, we grow everything without the use of store-bought soil, pesticides or fertilizers. If you've been wanting to learn the basics of growing your own fruit and veggies and want to get your hands in the dirt, then why don't you come down to the farm and volunteer! We always have lots to do in the spring, summer & fall seasons so there's always something to learn! Send us an email at wattlensnoodfarm@yahoo.com if you're interested in volunteering and we can set up jobs based on your interests!

Elderflower Festival!

Our Elderflower Festival is our once‑a‑year celebration of early summer’s most enchanting bloom — a fragrant, fleeting flower that has been cherished for generations. This limited event is offered on two separate dates only: June 25th and July 5th, giving guests a rare chance to experience the elderflower harvest at its peak.

What You’ll Experience

This immersive, hands‑on festival invites you to learn how to transform delicate elderflower blossoms into beautiful, flavourful creations. Throughout the workshop, you’ll make:

  • Elderflower champagne — a naturally fermented, lightly sparkling drink with a floral twist (non alcoholic version)

  • Elderflower syrup — perfect for cocktails, desserts, and refreshing summer spritzes

  • Your own elderflower cutting — so you can grow this magical plant at home

Each participant leaves with their handmade goods and the knowledge to recreate them year after year.

 Alfresco Farm Lunch

Weather permitting, we’ll gather outdoors for a farm‑style lunch, served long‑table style among the gardens. Expect fresh, seasonal dishes that highlight the flavours of early summer and the spirit of community that makes this festival so special.

Farm Tour & Goat Cuddles

For those who want to explore a little more, we’ll offer a guided farm tour, sharing the stories behind our gardens, animals, and regenerative growing practices. And yes — there will be an opportunity for a goat cuddle with our friendliest residents.
